Imagination

Let’s say you imagined a world that existed within your imagination and whatever you decided you wanted to exist within that world was present. Let’s say you decided to give your creation the ability to grow and develop on its own. As this growth and development takes shape, the freedom you have allowed has taken on a created life of its own with unexpected outcomes. Some of the outcomes are positive and some not so much.

Let’s say the “not so much” positive outcomes are tending to overcome the positives. At the beginning of your venture with this created-imagined world, you were very pleased with what you had imagined. So rather than re-imagining this world you created, due to the negatives, you sought to influence your created world from within.

The world you had imagined had taken on a kind of darkness or confusion causing the creatures existing within it to begin behaving in a way not customary to your first thoughts of them. You were aware of how much you cared for these creatures within your imagined-created world and because you had decided to give them the freedom to choose, that freedom figured into your love for them. Because they now existed within this darkness, you devised a plan to bring them your light to overcome this darkness and help these creatures gain understanding.

Your plan was to imagine yourself as one of these creatures by going to where they existed within your mind to join them within the darkness with which they had imagined. Their imagination had veiled their original reality that you had imagined them to be in the first place. The darkness they were experiencing was so dark they were blind to the light you represented hindering their reflection of it.

You even sought to use your imagination to heal some of their issues hoping that would help them to see the light. Some of them saw it but those who did not thought you were a threat to them. Because all of this existed within your thoughts, each creative offspring coming into view was a testimony to your loving nature that each one was worth the journey. As time progressed, it became apparent in order to finally do away with the darkness, a new imagination had to be recognized that did not upset the freedom that already existed for the creatures you first imagined.

As the darkness continued to exist still feeling threatened by your light, eventually the darkness that controlled the creatures set into motion their own plan for snuffing out the light completely. Once the creatures had assumed they had extinguished the light and claiming victory for their darkened confusion, their very act set into motion your determined imagination that your light would be unveiled within every creature you had ever imagined freeing them from being controlled by their darkness. This freedom allowed each creature to remember how they were first imagined by you. Each creature exists within your thoughts and not one of them exists outside of your thoughts.

Surrounding your imagination is the spirit of your desire to create a world that reflects the love it took for you to create in the first place. It is that spirit that holds your imagination and seeks to awaken those who have yet to come to your light. It is just a matter of imagination before your created world is awakened from its slumber.

I invite the reader to use their imagination as you consider this reflection!
